Classes designed for Seniors
Riviera Fitness Center is a Proud Partner with the Silver Sneakers Program, beginner or experienced, we have fitness classes fit for everyone. All SilverSneakers classes are led by our supportive instructors.
Riviera also offers Weight Training for our Silver Snickers Members. Weight training is key to maintaining mobility, balance, and range of motion as you get older.

Zumba
We take the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check.

Zumba Toning
Those who want to party, but put extra emphasis on toning and sculpting to define those muscles!
The challenge of adding resistance by using Zumba Toning Sticks (or light weights), helps you focus on specific muscle groups, so you (and your muscles) stay engaged!

Zumba Gold
Active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower-intensity.
The design of the class introduces easy-to-follow Zumba choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination. Come ready to sweat!

Hitt
High-intensity interval training (HIIT) is a training technique that involves alternating short, intense bursts of exercise with brief recovery periods.
HIIT can help improve cardiovascular health, metabolic health, and overall fitness. Lose weight, gain muscle and be healthier!

Spin
Spin is a low-impact, high-intensity workout that targets all major muscle groups, including your quads, calves, glutes, and core.
Our Spin classes are designed to be motivational and engaging as they are effective. Our instructor and your classmates will keep you motivated and pedaling

Power Step
Power Step fitness class targets the lower body muscles, specifically the quadriceps, hamstrings, glutes, and calves. This exercise also engages the core and helps to improve explosive power and balance.
Provides a great cardio, conditioning and endurance workout.

Meaning “to join together,” yoga is a combination of exercise, breathing, and meditation. Yoga joins the mind and body into one harmonious collaboration.

Healing Yoga
Healing yoga focuses breathing, meditation, and to remove obstacles to healing and wholeness with deep breathing and to find your core balance.
In addition, learning Our body’s acupressure point to relieve your pain and everyday stress to heal yourself for the better tomorrow.

Senior Power Hour
Improving and maintaining body strength is incredibly important as we age.
A senior power hour fitness class is a strength training class that uses music to help seniors push through high-rep sequences. Power hour classes use barbells, weight plates, and body weight to target all major muscle groups.
